*Rejection Notice*

You win some, you lose some. You get some, you are denied some. Back in January 2024, I applied for an NWO (Dutch Research Council) Impact Explorer grant to do some pretty cool stuff – or so I thought 😀 The decision came back today and (un)fortunately my proposal has been rejected! It is what it is and what I have come to experience as a normal part of being an academic. I gave it my best shot. Now time to get out some of those dark chocolates from Ghana…
